The second bedroom at Hawthorn Cottage has two single beds plus an extra bed. It's super cozy and perfect for a good night's sleep. As someone with physical handicaps, I really appreciate the comfortable and accessible layout of the room.
While the bathroom is spacious, I personally would have preferred a walk-in shower instead of the roll-top bath. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage nestled in the tranquil Sperrin countryside. The cottage had a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional coziness. My 4-year-old son loved playing table tennis and exploring the spacious garden. We enjoyed evening dinners with the BBQ facilities and outdoor table. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even allowing my son to collect fresh eggs in the morning. The cottage provided a peaceful retreat while also being a great base for exploring the surrounding area, including beautiful forest parks and the American Folk museum. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
None - everything was perfect.

Our children loved collecting fresh eggs each morning and exploring the stunning countryside. The nearby village was friendly and the Centra shop was handy. We enjoyed relaxing family time and would definitely return.

Loved exploring the garden and picking fruit from the trees. The kitchen had all the fancy gadgets and I took advantage of collecting fresh eggs for breakfast from the hens.
Oh, that free use of bicycles was just such a hassle, I mean who wants to go for a leisurely bike ride in the beautiful countryside?

The cottage was beautifully decorated and cozy, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome. We loved the fresh eggs and homemade bread that were provided. The location was ideal, with easy access to various attractions in Northern Ireland.
Although it was a minor issue, we found that there could have been a few more knives and cooking utensils in the kitchen. However, this did not significantly impact our overall experience.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. It had a modern and comfortable vibe that made us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised by the extra treats and thoughtful touches that greeted us upon arrival. The hosts and their colleague were warm and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, with a convenience store just a short walk away for any last-minute needs. And with the scorching heat outside, the thick walls of the cottage provided a cool sanctuary to escape to.
The only downside we experienced was some noisy plumbing due to the age of the house. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to all the positives we enjoyed during our stay.
